​Rapier Schedule

9 am set up, inspections and authorizations

10:30 am Rookie tournament
no fighting awards and/or less than three authorizations. Speed tournament or round Robin
numbers depending.

11:00 am English vs Spanish
You are the Captain of your ship and the Master of your fate.
All entrants declare for the England or Spain. Each entrant receives a stack of coins. English challenge Spanish. Then Spanish challenge the English. Repeat
Fight any style except spear. Rubberband gun's ok. One use. One per entrant. May be shared. Shields and weapons are proof from shots.
One coin is exchanged for a win to the winner. Plus one for every rank defeated is above the winner.
Ranks are:
Novice 1 Auth
Experienced 3 auths
Cav knot
Broze ring
MOD
Novice beats a Mod= 5 coins
MOD beats anyone = 1coin
Please announce your rank and determine exchange values before the bout begins.
Fight until you run out of coins. Your tired and wish to stop. Everyone is tired. Or 1pm.
Side bets encouraged.
Challenge bets can be made. (" I think I can beat you for one additional coin.' *IF EXCEPTED BY YOUR opponent before lay on.* a win gets the extra coin. A loss pays the extra coin.)
Winner is the one with the most coins. Reporting your loot is optional, but the side that shows the biggest increase in gold also gets a prize.

Rotello can be borrowed or a buckler smaller than 25 inches
Top 2 or 4(depending on numbers)Fight single elimination for winner

3 pm Rest of day pickups and training (skilled fencers willing)

Everyone is encouraged to bring ALL the weapons to help with weapon supplies.

Afterwards is open to pickups, teaching, any other fighting activities.

City of Gold All-Day Tournament

Unlimited practice throws, one scoring round, determined by the throwers (Hey, marshal, I'd like this to be my scoring round please!) Adult and Youth categories, winners announced at court.
You are welcome to continue throwing for fun after your scoring round.
Tournament Rules:
Axe, Knife, Spear targets
All three weapons styles get 3 throws, loaner gear will be available.
Axe target: Gold jewelry to collect and take for yourself
Knife Target: You've found a chest full of gold coins! Collect the chest, bonus points for coins that fell out of the chest.
Spears: Uh-Oh, the guardian monster of the treasure has found you. Defeat it to get away with your spoils.
